Private Lessons
Tuition is based on a semester of 16 weeks. It can be paid per semester or monthly.
Tuition for fall and spring is $400 for 16 45-minute lessons. Semester is based on the Chesapeake Public Schools calendar. We are closed the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas as well as one week in October.
A one time materials fee of $30 is collected at the beginning of the semester and covers all music and theory worksheets used in the lessons.
Monthly tuition of $80 is due the first of each month. A monthly invoice will be sent by email. Tuition is due upon receipt of invoice and may be paid by Venmo, Zelle, cash or check.
Discounts are available for students who can schedule morning lessons and for siblings.
Group Lessons
Group lessons are held at Hickory United Methodist Church. Class size will not exceed 4 students. Each student will play on a separate keyboard. Lessons include group games and activities, and keyboard exercises.

Make up lessons
I will schedule a make up for any private lesson cancelled 24 hours before the lesson time. Any lesson missed by the teacher will be made up or reimbursed.
Unfortunately, Group Lessons cannot be made up. As needed, I will try to offer extra lessons to insure that students are reaching their goals and are prepared for any recitals or programs presented.
